Continuous Physical Withering Machine
Chemical Withering:
Moisture reduction at a desired rate.
The objective is to make leaf'flaccid'or'rubbery' which is essential for the subsequent step of processing (maceration) - rolling or crushing action.
Advantages of separate mode of Physical withering:
- Savings in space - Withering troughs not required.
- Savings in labour - Numbers of workers required for withering 1-2.
- Savings in energy - Reduction of power in withering section
- Consistent quality of withering.
- Automatic spreading of leaf inside both CCW and CPW
